
Katarzyna (Kasia) Gondek

Katarzyna Gondek is an author of films and literary forms. She had two novels and one poetry book published. Her films were screened at many festivals around the world. With DEER BOY she had her second Sundance film in competition, after FIGURE, which was screened there in 2016.
An alumna of Berlinale Talents, European Short Pitch (Grand Prix), Torino Script Lab 2018 (special mention at the TFL Pitching Forum) and Biennale College Cinema (with THE SLUGS).
Scholarship holder of the Polish Film Institute (with THE ROOT CROWN) and Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (with PASSENGERS OF CARNIVALE).
She finished film studies at AMU University in Poznan and directing in Wajda School. She was born in Kłodzko (Poland) and is now based in Brussels.
She likes to walk a lot.
